The West Florida Flames - Rascal Academy is a popular program for our youngest athletes. The Rascal Academy aims to introduce an early social and sporting structure to participants as young as three and four athletes.

The Rascal Academy is a non- play activity focusing on simple physical activities with and without the ball. The program is designed to introduce some basic ball skills while promoting independence in the social setting. Parents are encouraged to help when needed but to allow their children to find a comfortable balance while participating.

The Rascal Academy is offered four times per year in 5 week sessions. Each training session is under an hour and goes by quickly. The Rascal program strives to have a fun active session leaving each child wanting more. Many parents stay a bit longer enjoying the one on one time and the new skills.

The main goal of our Rascal Academy is to have each child love the game and establish some comfort with the ball. Our youngest athletes generally move into recreational play more confidence, awareness, and always a big smile on their face!

The program is 5 weeks each session, meeting on Wednesdays at 6:15pm at JC Handly.
