Recreational Developmental Academy/Future Flames – Brandon Campus

Players Born Between 2014 Through 2007

West Florida Flames Recreational Academy Program is a professionally coached training and small-sided games program. The program is offered twice a year in the fall and spring. It is designed for the more committed player in the U6–U13 (Fall) and U6–U13 (Spring) age groups that is seeking professional training and better competition. The format is one day a week of professional training and a weekend game in which the players are split into different teams each week to play small-sided games. Many players participate in both the Fall and Spring Recreational Academy in addition to the Winter Classic recreational season. The Recreational Academy Program is ideal for the player that already knows they want to try-out for the West Florida Flames Elite/Competitive soccer Program.

The West Florida Flames Recreational Academy is one of our most popular recreational programs attracting players from the entire region. The goal of our Recreational Academy is to introduce skills and technical development in an effort to bridge recreational players to a higher level of performance. This 6-week session is action packed with theme based training by our professional staff. The Recreational Academy format meets twice per week with players working themes and playing mini-games with staff coaches encouraging techniques learned along the way. The Recreational Academy is available for U6 through U13 and costs $150 per child.

2019 Fall Recreational Academy: The Fall Recreational Academy begins in mid-September and is designed to coexist with all Classic Programs.

2020 Spring Recreational Academy: The Spring Rdcreational Academy begins in March and is designed to give our recreational participants a good preparation for competitive try outs.
