MLSNEXT EXPANSION AWARDED (U17 and U19)
West Florida Flames is excited to announce that we have been awarded the U17 and U19 within the MLSNext. The expansion is due to our commitment and quality of developing players who are being recognized and pursued by MLS Pro Academies and other Elite Academy programs.
We will now be offering a full pathway to our players from U13 through U19 within the MLSNext, as well as, our Pre-MLSNext program at U11-U12.
“Our goal has always been and will continue to be to develop players an push them forward into a pro pathway. Being awarded expansion into the u17 and u19 is another great step forward for our club. The responsibility that is placed on us as an organization to commit purely to the development of players is one we hold in high regard” - Jorge Zavala, MLSNext Academy Director
The club recently announced the addition of the WPSL in the Women’s side. This is all a representation of our progression in programming as we continue to build and grow more opportunities for our elite athletes.
